London firm fined for unauthorised signage

A London based firm has been fined for displaying advertisements in contravention of the Planning Regulations.
Primesight Advertising Ltd of 14 Windmill Street, London pleaded guilty and were twice fined £250 and £70 costs on 16th April 2009 at Derry Magistrates Court.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 84 of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 for displaying the advertisements at 1 Rossdowney Park, Londonderry and Springtown Centre, Northland Road, also in Londonderry.
