Dungannon man fined for breach of planning controls

Mr Peadar Hughes, of Corr Road, Killyman, Dungannon, County Tyrone was fined on Wednesday 14 November 2007 at Dungannon Magistrates' Court for non compliance with an Enforcement Notice.
The enforcement notice applied to a site located at Ballynakilly Road, Dungannon.The Notice required the removal of metal cabins/storage units and site restoration, including removal of hardcore, top soiling, re-seeding and access alterations.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 67A(1)(a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended).
The Notice had been partially complied with but the hardcore and access remained.
Mr Hughes was fined £15,000 and £85 costs.
