Installation of Computer System in Ballymena Division
Planning Service wishes to inform our customers that, following the pilot conducted in Belfast Division and HQ during June and July and the recent installation in the Craigavon Office, the Agency intends to install the new computer system in Ballymena Divisional office from 18 October 2010. It is anticipated that this exercise will be completed by 25 October. If there is any change to this date it will be published here.
The Agency has put a range of measures in place to ensure the installation of the new system will have a minimal impact on the services provided to our customers during this period.
Office opening hours, open file appointments, council meetings and site visits will be unaffected. All applications, reserved matters and environmental statements received during this week will be date stamped and date honoured and cheques will be kept securely in a safe. Planning applications received during the installation week will be validated and advertised approximately one week later than usual.
