Enniskillen man fined £9,000 for planning offence

A Co Fermanagh man was fined £9,000 plus costs for failing to comply with two DOE Planning Enforcement Notices at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court today.
Mr Aaron Quigley of Inishmore Road, Derrylester, Enniskillen pleaded guilty and was also ordered to pay a £15.00 offenders levy, legal costs of £500 and £13 in court costs. He was given 26 weeks to pay.
The Enforcement Notices related to land at Trustan Glebe, Mackan, Enniskillen.
The first Enforcement Notice related to the change of use of a building for agricultural purposes for which Mr Quigley was fined £4,000.
The second Enforcement Notice related to a number of extensions to a building for which Mr Quigley was fined £5,000.
