Carryduff man fined £6,000 for planning offence

Mr Stanley McBride, Ballynahinch Road, Carryduff was fined £6,000 plus £1,800 legal costs and £24 court costs at Newtownards Magistrates' Court today after being found guilty to non compliance with a DOE Planning Enforcement Notice.
The Enforcement Notice required him to remove walls, gates, driveway and a shed at 120m west of 80 Drummalig Road, Carryduff.

This is the second fine for Mr McBride with regards to this offence. On the 28 May 2012 he was fined £5,000 with court and legal costs of £85.00.
