Planning Reform and Transfer to Local Government: Proposals for Subordinate Legislation (Phase 2)

The Department of the Environment has issued the second phase of a two-phased public consultation exercise which sets out proposals to introduce improvements in the planning process and establish a new two-tier planning system in Northern Ireland.
This consultation ended on Wed, 31 Dec 2014

The proposals relate to subordinate legislation amendments important for the introduction of reforms to the planning system and the transfer of responsibility for the majority of planning functions to the new district councils in April 2015.

You are invited to send your views on the consultation paper proposals.  Comments should reflect the structure of the document as far as possible with reference to paragraph numbers where relevant.  An electronic response form is available.  All responses should be made in writing and submitted to the Department in one of the following ways.
