Consultation Paper on Planning Reform and Transfer to Local Government: Proposals for Subordinate Legislation

The Department of the Environment has issued a consultation paper which sets out proposals for subordinate legislation to introduce reforms to the planning system and transfer responsibility for the majority of planning functions to the new district councils in April 2015.

You are invited to send your views on the consultation paper proposals.  Comments should reflect the structure of the document as far as possible with reference to paragraph numbers where relevant.  Comments on the related Equality Impact Assessment Screening documents and Partial Regulatory Impact Assessments are also welcome.  All responses should be made in writing and submitted to the Department in one of the following ways.  An electronic response form is available.
