Designation date: 03 June 1996
Background
|
The history and evolution of Randalstown is typical of many small Ulster towns. However, unlike many, Randalstown’s integrity as a small attractive 19th century town is still largely intact. The town is rich in heritage and has grown with recent prosperity. However, it retains its original street layout and many of the original buildings and structures from the 18th and 19th centuries.
