PPS 6: Planning, Archaeology and The Built Heritage
Annex C: List Description
C13 The list includes a Departmental reference number, the name and address of the building and a brief description, bibliographic references and the date of erection, where known. In some cases the list may set out the most important features of the building. In such a case this description is not intended to be a comprehensive or exclusive record. Absence from the list description of any reference to a feature (whether external, internal or within the curtilage) does not indicate that it is of no interest, or that it can be removed or altered without consent. Where there is doubt, advice should be sought from the Environment and Heritage Service
. The current re-survey will, where appropriate, enhance existing descriptions and information on listed buildings.
