Policy PSU 1 Watercourse Management
Development will not be permitted where it would involve the loss of access to any watercourse for any future maintenance. In any case, a 5 metre access strip may be required between the top of the river bank and the development.
Where proposed development abuts a designated watercourse, a 5 metre access strip shall be retained free from development and obstructions to facilitate maintenance. This access strip will incorporate potential access from a public area.
