The Drumadarragh House Historic Park, Garden and Demesne of Special Historic Interest is designated as identified on Map No. 1 - Newtownabbey Countryside and clarification Map No. 20a - Drumadarragh House.

Drumadarragh House dates from the 18th Century, with later additions and is listed.
This area will be detailed in a register of Historic Parks, Gardens and Demesnes of Special historic Interest in Northern Ireland to be published by the Environment and Heritage Service, DOE. This register will summarise the historical significance of each site and the contribution that such planned features make to the local landscape. It will also seek to encourage the public, as well as owners, to value and support the protection and maintenance of such sites.
