Education
The SEELB have stated that Meadow Bridge Primary School, Hillsborough, is replacing Maze Primary School, St. John’s Primary School and St. James’ Primary School. Hillsborough Primary School has been replaced and now accommodates pupils from the former Newport Primary School.
Community Facilities
Hillsborough is served with 6 youth organisations operating predominately from church halls.
The town of Hillsborough is included in the SEELB area which is served by 5 mobile libraries.
