Three people fined for unauthorised dormer windows

Three people were today fined at Laganside Magistrates' Court for non-compliance with Planning Service Enforcement Notices.
Mr Hugh O'Neill of Ingledale Park, Belfast was fined £200.00 and ordered to pay solicitor costs of £70 and court summons costs of £25.00, for the erection of an unauthorised dormer at Ingledale Park, Belfast.
Ms Angelina Markey of Oldpark Avenue, Belfast, and Ms Susan Scullion of Duneden Park, Belfast, were each fined £50.00 and each ordered to pay £70.00 solicitor costs and £28.00 summons costs, for the erection of an unauthorised dormer at Oldpark Avenue, Belfast.
Planning Service brought about the charges under Article 67A (1) (a) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 namely carrying out development without the planning permission required.
