Strabane man fined £20,000 for Planning offence

A Co Tyrone man was fined £20,000 plus £75 court costs at Strabane Magistrates’ Court on 13 October 2011 for failing to comply with a DOE Planning Enforcement Notice.
Mr Francis Wray, Tullymoan Road, Clady was found guilty of failing to comply with the enforcement notice which required him to remove waste materials deposited within a river floodplain at the rear of 125-141 Urney Road, Clady.

Planning brought the action under Article 67(A) 1(a) of The Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.
