Published on Mon, 12 Oct 2009
Mr Adrian O Loane and Mrs Kathleen O Loane of 1A Drumvale Park, Cookstown were fined £1,500 plus £85.00 costs at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court today for non compliance with an enforcement notice which required the removal of two buildings, a large shed and stable, at lands south west of 24 Tullagh Road, Cookstown.
Mr and Mrs O Loane were convicted for not having complied with the enforcement notice within the allotted time period. Although the shed and stables had been removed by the time of court today, this was outside the time frame indicated on the enforcement notice of 60 days from the date of the said notice.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 67A(1)(a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended).
