Omagh couple fined £10,000 for planning offence

Mr Kevin Phelan and Mrs Paula Phelan of Gillygooley Road, Omagh, were each fined £5,000 plus £101 legal and court costs at Omagh Magistrates' Court today after pleading guilty to non compliance with a DOE Planning Enforcement Notice.
Mr and Mrs Phelan were charged with the unauthorised erection of a boundary wall and gates at the above property.

This is the second fine for the Phelan’s in regards to this offence. On the 11 March 2011 they were fined £4,000 with court and legal costs.
