Planners List Council Schedules and Valid Applications On Web

DOE Planning Service announced today, the publication of council schedules and lists of valid planning applications, on the Planning website.
Ian Maye, Director of Corporate Services, said: "The Planning Service receives over 33,000 planning applications per year now in Northern Ireland and the figure continues to grow. The provision of information about these planning applications, via our website, is a vital element of our plans to streamline the Planning process.
"Citizens, agents and everyone with an interest in the planning process can now use the Planning Service website to get information on planning applications going to local councils for consultation and on new applications entering the planning process.
"This initiative is the latest in a series of initiatives to modernise and reform planning processes and the availability now of this information on our website, underlines our determination to create a more co-ordinated, transparent, speedier and efficient planning process for the public."
The Council Schedules can be accessed on this website or via the Northern Ireland eGovernment portal
