Londonderry woman fined £250 for planning offence

Mrs Jaclyn McConnell of Stoneypath, Londonderry, was fined £250, ordered to pay court costs of £75 and summons costs of £10 at Limavady Magistrates' Court today for the display of an illegal advertising sign.
The internally illuminated projecting sign was on the first floor of the building and advertised 'Subway'.
The summons was issued under Article 84 of The Planning (NI) Order 1991 namely the enforcement of advertisement control.
