Lisburn man fined for planning offences

A Co Antrim man was fined a total of £1,000 plus costs of £89 at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court today for planning offences.
Mr Jackie Tate, Moira Road, Lisburn, was found guilty of the non-compliance with a stop notice for:-
the unauthorised use of the land as a scrap yard;
the unauthorised storage of waste materials including scrap metals, vehicles and parts;
the unauthorised storage of associated plant, machinery and vehicles, and
the unauthorised erection of buildings making a material change in the use of the said lands being development carried out without the grant of planning permission required.
