Derrylin man fined £5000.00 for non-compliance with an enforcement notice

A Co. Fermanagh man was fined £5000.00 plus costs at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court on the 14 April 2010  for failing to comply with an Enforcement Notice.
Mr Adrian McCaffrey of Oakvale, Derrylin was convicted for failing to cease use of land and premises adjacent to Mountview Inn, Main Street Derrylin as a store and car park hire business (equipment and vehicles) within 28 days from the date the Notice took effect.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 67A(1)(a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended), namely carrying out development without the planning permission required.
