Co. Londonderry man fined £5,000 for planning offence

Mr Declan Harley of Abercorn Road, Londonderry, was fined £5,000 plus costs of £109 today at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court for the illegal display of an advertisement.
The illegal advertisement was displayed at premises at 33A Abercorn Road, Londonderry, and was contrary to the Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1992.
This follows his previous conviction on 15 April 2010 for illegal display of the same advertisement.
