Man fined £750 for Planning Breach

Mr Robert Baird was fined £750 at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9th September 2009 for failing to comply with a planning enforcement notice.
Mr Robert Baird of The Gamekeepers Lodge, 274 Moyad Road, Kilkeel, pleaded guilty to non compliance with a Planning Enforement Notice requiring him to stop extracting and processing sand and gravel and restoring the site at 1 mile north of Sandy Brae, Attical, Kilkeel.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 68 (1) (a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended).
