Local Man Fined for Non-Compliance with Enforcement Notice

Mr Dean Douglas (aged 36) of 29 Harcourts Hill Portadown was fined £400 plus £75 legal costs and £25 court costs, at Craigavon Magistrates' Court on 14 September 2009, for failing to comply with planning regulations.
Mr Douglas pleaded guilty to non-compliance with a Planning Enforcement Notice seeking the removal of a workshop/store, the removal of hardsurfacing, the closure of an access and reinstatement of the site at this address.
The Planning service brought the action under Article 72 of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended).
