Coalisland man fined £1,000 for planning offence

A Co Tyrone man was today fined £1,000 and ordered to pay court costs of £26 and legal costs of £75 at Dungannon Magistrates' Court for non compliance with a Planning Service Enforcement Notice.
Mr Jim O'Hara of Annaghmore Road, Coalisland, was charged with the unauthorised use of land at Annaghmore Road, Coalisland, for the importation and processing of waste.
Planning Service brought the charge under Article 67A 1(a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 as amended, namely carrying out development without the planning permission required.
