Carrickmore man fined £1,500 for non-compliance with a Planning Enforcement Notice

A County Tyrone man pleaded guilty and was fined a total of £1,500 plus £88 costs at Omagh Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 20 March 2012 for non-compliance with a Department of the Environment (DOE) Planning Enforcement Notice.
Mr Patrick Canavan, Camlough Road Carrickmore, was issued with an Operational Notice seeking the removal of a shed, access to be closed and land to be topsoiled.
Mr Canavan and his wife Marion Canavan had previously been fined £500 each plus Court and legal costs on the 9 September 2011 for the same offence.
The building has been demolished.
