Belfast Woman Fined for Unauthorised Dormer Window

A Belfast woman was fined £200.00 plus court costs of £85.00 on 5th October 2010 at Belfast Magistrates Court for failing to comply with a Planning Service enforcement notice.
Ms Karen Keenan of Mountainview Gardens, Belfast pleaded guilty to the charges having previously been served the notice which required removal of an unauthorised dormer at her property.
The Planning Service brought the action under Article 67A(1)(a) of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended), namely carrying out development without the planning permission required.
