Belfast residents fined for unauthorised dormer windows

Two Belfast residents were fined on 15th June 2010 at Laganside Magistrates Court for non compliance with enforcement notices which had come into effect requiring the removal of unauthorised dormers.
Ms Mary Toner of Springfield Road, Belfast was fined £250.00 plus court costs of £91.00 whilst Mr Noel Graham of Andersonstown Park West, Belfast was fined £300.00 plus court costs of £102.00.
Each Enforcement Notice was served under Art 67a (1) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 (As amended) namely carrying out development without the planning permission required.
