A Co Tyrone man was jailed in November 2011 for non-payment of a £15,000 fine which was imposed on the 13th April 2010 at East Tyrone Magistrates’ Court for failing to comply with a Planning Service Enforcement Notice.
The fine was subsequently confirmed by Dungannon County Court on 30th June 2010.

Mr Fergal O'Neill of 66A Kilmascally Road, Ardboe, Dungannon was required to remove unauthorised buildings, namely terrace dwellings in the open countryside, at a site to the rear of 17 Killycanavan Road, Ardboe.

A warrant for his arrest was issued after Mr O Neill failed to pay the fine and it was executed in mid-November.
