Banbridge Newry and Mourne Area Plan 2015: Public Inspection of Representations (1)

Following publication of the Draft Plan, the Department invited representations over an 8 week period ending on the 17th October 2006.
The Department published the Banbridge / Newry & Mourne Area Plan 2015 (Draft Plan) on 22nd August 2006. Following publication of the Draft Plan, the Department invited representations over an 8 week period ending on the 17th October 2006. The Department may decide to cause an independent examination to be held by the Planning Appeals Commission for the purpose of considering objections to the Draft Plan.
The Planning (Development Plan) (Amendment) Regulations (NI) 2004, requires the Department to make copies of all objections to a development plan available for inspection.
The representations may now be inspected at the offices of the:

  • 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
  • 10.30am to 4.30 pm Thursday

Submission of Counter Objections

The Department is now inviting representations about objections, known as counter objections, to the Draft Plan. These counter objections must be submitted in writing or by electronic communication, in accordance with The Planning (Electronic Communications) Order (NI) 2006, to the address below and received no later than 4.30pm on Tuesday 21st August 2007.

Anyone making representations about an objection may also ask to be notified of the Department’s decision in writing at such address as they specify. It should also be noted that such written representations will be available for public inspection and may be referred to at any forthcoming independent examination.
Representations concerning letters of support for the Draft Plan are not invited and cannot be considered at any forthcoming independent examination.
