Planning Register
9. The Department is required by law, to place a copy of every application for planning permission, together with copies of any plans and drawings, environmental statements etc. associated with the application on the Planning Register.
The Register is available for public inspection during normal office hours at your Local Area Planning Office. As well as the Register being available for public inspection, you have the right to inspect the application file. The amount of information on the file will, of course, be dependent on the stage the application has reached. To inspect the file, you must make an appointment with the Open File Correspondence Unit at the relevant Local Area Planning Office.
