Hazardous Substance Consent

•Article 53 of The Planning (NI) Order 1991 requires hazardous substance consent to be obtained for the presence on, over or under land of a hazardous substance in an amount at or above a specified controlled quantity.
•The Planning (Hazardous Substance) Regulations (NI) 1993 as amended by the COMAH Regs 2000 & 2005 specify the hazardous substances and controlled quantities for which consent is required.
