Review of George Best Belfast City Airport Planning AgreementPublic Consultation Exercise
The Department of the Environment has launched an open and transparent public consultation process seeking representations about the current Belfast City Airport (BCA) Planning Agreement. The Planning Agreement, which controls certain aspects of BCA’s operations, covers a number of key issues including the number of seats for sale, operating hours, air transport movements, noise and flight paths. BCA has sought an increase in the number of passenger movements, through a review of the seats for sale restriction, and the Department seeks views on this proposal in the context of the overall Planning Agreement.
