Belfast City Airport Planning Agreement: Public Consultation Exercise

This consultation closed on 14th January 2005.
Since the end of the Consultation process, the Department of the Environment decided that an Examination in Public (EIP) should be conducted as part of its review of the 1997 Planning Agreement with Belfast City Airport.

The Department of the Environment has launched an open and transparent public consultation process seeking representations about the current Belfast City Airport (BCA) Planning Agreement.
The Planning Agreement, which controls certain aspects of BCA’s operations, covers a number of key issues including the number of seats for sale, operating hours, air transport movements, noise and flight paths. BCA has sought an increase in the number of passenger movements, through a review of the seats for sale restriction, and the Department seeks views on this proposal in the context of the overall Planning Agreement.

The closing date for receipt of representations is 14th January 2005 and must be made in writing.
