Unfortunately, Planning Service is temporarily ceasing to carry out any further substantive work on the preparation of the West Tyrone Area Plan 2019 pending the outcome of the Department's appeal of the legal judgements handed down in the High Court in relation to the Environmental Reports which accompanied the draft Northern and Magherafelt Area Plans. Planning Service regrets having to take this course of action but will review the position again once judgement has been handed down following the appeal proceedings which are currently scheduled for 2nd and 3rd June 2008.
