Draft Plan Revision 10 May 2005 - Public Inspection of Objections

The Magherafelt Area Plan 2015 is a development plan being prepared under Part III of the Planning (NI) Order – 1991 by the Planning Service, an Agency within the Department of the Environment. Following publication of the Magherafelt Area Plan 2015 – Draft Plan in April 2004, the Department issued a Revision to the Draft Plan on 10 May 2005 and invited representations over a 8 week period ending on 5 July 2005.

The Department has decided to cause a Public Local Inquiry to be held by the Planning Appeals Commission for the purpose of considering objections to the Draft Plan.

The Planning (Development Plans) Regulations (NI) 1991, as amended, requires the Department to make copies of all objections to a development plan available for inspection prior to the Inquiry. Copies of all representations to the Magherafelt Area Plan 2015 Draft Plan Revision may be inspected from 6 September to 1 November 2005 , Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.30pm at the address below:

The Department is now inviting representations about objections to the Draft Plan Revision which must be submitted, to the above address, in writing and received not later than 5.00pm on 1st November 2005.

Anyone making a representation about an objection may also ask to be notified of the Department’s decision in writing at such address as they specify. It should also be noted that such written representations will be available for public inspection and will be referred to at the Public Inquiry.
