Retail Study Report Addendum

A Retail Study Report was published along with the Draft Plan on the 20th December 2005. Subsequent to its publication, it was drawn to the attention of the Planning Service that elements of the retail floorspace data used in the Study appeared to be inaccurate.

During 2006, the Planning Service worked with the Valuation and Lands Agency to validate and update the retail floorspace data for the Craigavon District and these figures have been incorporated into an addendum to the original Retail Study including an updated quantitative retail needs assessment.

The Department and its consultants, Colliers CRE, are of the view that the broad conclusions and recommendations contained in the original Study remain unchanged.
