The Craigavon Town Centre Boundaries and Retail Designations Plan 2010 is a development plan being prepared under the provisions of Part III of The Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 by the Planning Service, an Agency within the Department of the Environment.

Following publication of the Draft Plan on 20th December 2005, the Department invited representations over an 8-week period ending on 14th February 2006. During this period, the Department received representations from 15 respondents relating to the Draft Plan. The Department has decided to cause a Public Local Inquiry to be held by the Planning Appeals Commission for the purpose of considering objections to the Draft Plan. The Planning (Development Plans) Regulations (NI) 1991, as amended, requires the Department to make copies of all objections to a development plan available for inspection prior to the Inquiry.

These representations are available for inspection online and at the Craigavon Divisional Planning Office. The Department is now inviting representations about objections to the Draft Plan, which must be submitted in writing and received not later than 4.30 pm on Friday 30th June 2006.
