Latest news about the Plan: Change of Draft Plan Consultation Period

Due to a flaw in the notification procedure at the Draft Plan publication stage, the Department has decided to re-advertise the Draft Plan and accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment and invite representations over a new eight week period ending on Friday 20th October 2006.

Anyone wishing to make a representation including objection to any of the Plan Proposals contained in the Draft Craigavon Town Centre Boundaries and Retail Designations Plan or in relation to the Strategic Environmental Assessment should do so in writing to the Craigavon Divisional Office at the address below, or by e-mail or by fax.

All representations must be received no later than 4.30pm on Friday 20th October 2006. Representations and objections should, where appropriate, be accompanied by an up-to-date map clearly identifying any lands to which they relate.
Late representations cannot be taken into consideration.

The Department will be contacting anyone who has already made a representation to the Draft Plan seeking confirmation, before the closing date, as to whether they wish to confirm or withdraw the original representation. It will not be necessary to resubmit the representation.

Details of the Public Inquiry will also be advertised in due course.
