Ballyclare
Employment and Industry

 
 

Employment

Ballyclare is well located in relation to key transport corridors and has a concentration of existing facilities and infrastructure, which provides a basis for expansion of economic activity. It is proposed to further develop Ballyclare as a location for employment. The Plan zones some 5.4 hectares of additional land for Employment / Industry within the Settlement Development Limit and 40 hectares of Existing Employment / Industrial land, of which 13 hectares has remaining capacity for development.

Lands zoned for Employment/Industry and Existing Employment/Industry are identified on Map No. 3a - Ballyclare.


Employment / Industrial Zoning

The following site BE 06 is zoned for Employment/Industry as identified on Map No. 3a - Ballyclare.

Detailed consultation with Water Service DRD will be required regarding any Water Service infrastructure requirements.

Existing Employment/ Industrial Land
